I have been tagged?

Uh, just read Carmel's blog and had to realise that she tagged me for confessions. You have to be careful, I might me to afraid to read your posts the next time ;)
Okay, let me confess...let me think...here we go.

I confess being addicted to Cheeseburgers from Mc Donalds

I confess I hate getting up in the morning when it is still dark outside. For that reason I dont start university before 10 am in the winter term.

I confess I want to travel all the time and everywhere.

I confess I have a problem with finding a boyfriend in my hometown. I confess I might be running away from them.

I confess I stole money out of my Mum's money bag when I was young. About 1 Euro :(

I confess that i vomitted onto the veranda of a farm I was staying at in New Zealand after I got very drunk. I confess that REgina cleaned up for me and in my drunken state I must have kicked the bowl and well...the rest you can imagine.

I confess I am reading the new Harry Potter book.

I confess I went shopping yesterday instead of sitting in the library and studying chemistry. I confess I took the chance and bought a lot once I was there ;)

I confess I was not quick enough to get a ticket for next year's Robbie Williams World Tour :´( they were sold out after 12 hours!!!! 2 concerts! I blame myself for not being wise and early enough.)

I confess that I cant wait to get to Thailand next year.

I confess that I am crazy for Alemannia Aachen and sometimes I start to adore the players and daydream of going out with them. Is this abnormal?

I confess I am still up and I sould be in bed already...

Okay, I think I outed myself a few times but I have to deal with that. So how does that work with tagging, do I have to tag another person now? So the person will be....Jonathan. Sorry, but you are the only one in my list I know personally and that motivated me to choose you.

So I will finally make it into bed and have a good rest, finally relieved from all my sins ;)

Wise Words

I just got these texts in email. It is sweet and also has some good advice. Enjoy it on a cold November day like today!

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Thsi one is for all the women out there ;)

Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot; who calls you back when you hang up on him; who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead; who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats; who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "..that's her."

The last tickets for the world cup have been taken

Yesterday was a very big day for a few football-crazy nations as the last matches took place and it was the decision for 5 more teams to join the World Cup.
Congratulations to Australia, Spain, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago and the Czech Republic.
I am very surprised and happy that Australia and Trinidad and Tobago got their ticket to the event. As long as I can think back (okay I am not that old), I can't remember I have seen them play in a World Cup. It is good to welcome them, it is going to be a much more intercontinental crowd :)
I am sure it is going to be a great time next summer and I am happy and proud that we can welcome all different nations. I just pray that incidents like last night at the match Turkey-Switzerland will not happen again. I am not sure in how far this has spread in the news in other countries, but the fact is, that right after the match (Turkey won, but Switzerland was still qualified for the cup), players started a fight with each other and what I consider as even worse, even the security people went up to the Swiss men and kicked them. Turkey might be excluded for the World Cup in 2010 but now they claim that Switzerland should be sentenced, too. I do not know what has happened there exactly, I just pray that in the future, nations and teams will behave a bit more respectful towards each other. What a shame if anything else happens. In the end it is just a game.
Okay, I want to conclude with something that makes me more happy. Still about football but hopefully it will be more peaceful. Tomorrow I will drive to Bochum to see my team Aachen win ther :). Press thumbs!!!!

Things we do at university

I am in a very good and funny class called "Advanced Written English". It could be boring but our teacher does a very good job we do not miss the fun part of it.
Last week we got the task to rewrite a love letter from the positive into the negative. Does not sound too difficult, the we were only allowed to change punctuation.
Well let me first quote you the love letter that we were given:

Dear John:

I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I year for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we're apart. I can be forever happy -- will you let me be yours?

Gloria

Isn't that sweet? Well think about it, and maybe you will try yourself to change its contents into the opposite. but only change punctuation! Have you done it? Only then keep reading the rest ;)

Well, it has not been too difficult I guess. Here is the result:

Dear John:

I want a man who knows what love is. All about you are generous, kind, thoughtful people, who are not like you. Admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me. For other men, I yearn. For you, I have no feelings whatsoever. When we're apart, I can be forever happy. Will you let me be?

Yours Gloria

uw, what a change isn't it? I liked that task, hopefully we all learned how important the correct punctuation is.

Here is another one:

I have a spelling chequer;
It came with my PC.
It planely marks for my revue
Mistakes I cannot sea.
I've run this poem threw it.
I'm shore you're pleased to no
Its letter perfect in it's weigh.
My chequer tolled me sew.

:))) I think I don't need to make a comment on that one.

And last but not least I have something very difficult for the tongue:

Three sweeping sweet switched Swiss bitch-witches watch their three washed Swiss witch swatch watch switches. Which sweeping sweet switched Swiss bitch-witch watches which washed Swiss bitch-witch swatch watch switch?

my mind is crazy now after typing this!
Have fun!!!
